Job Description

Processing plant operations are to be supervised, and Production is to be maximized while Quality should be maintained efficiently by the Deputy Manager, Processing Plant (PPS-8) in the Punjab Government. The position is well-suited to engineers and to those with industrial or plant processing experience.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent discipline from an HEC-approved institution. Relevant work experience: The preferred candidates will have 5-8 years of relevant professional work experience in processing plant operations, industrial or manufacturing settings, and plant production and maintenance management. For this post, the age limit is between 30 and 45 years, but this is relaxable as per the Punjab Government rules. Besides, applicants should also have an in-depth technical understanding of industrial plant arrangements, machinery, maintenance, and diagnostic procedures, coupled with adequate knowledge of quality assurance and safety norms. Also, applicants should possess leadership abilities, team management, problem-solving, communication, and reporting.
