Job Description

Qualification:
Master’s or equivalent in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Cryptography, Blockchain Engineering, Distributed Systems, or related ICT disciplines).

Experience:
At least 7 years of experience in the professional sphere in blockchain and distributed ledger systems, ideally in the public and/or private sector.
The candidate’s relevant work experience should include the following:
• Leading blockchain or Web3 initiatives.
• Investigating distributed-ledger solutions.
• Crafting policy frameworks for blockchain adoption.
• Working with fintech, virtual assets, regulators, tech ecosystem and other key related partners.
• Knows cryptography, tokenization, smart-contracts.

Job Description:
• Conduct in‐depth research on blockchain, virtual assets, Web3, and distributed ledger technologies.
• Contribute to policy development, governance mechanisms, digital identities, and secure ledgers for public sector applications.
• Partner with financial services, the private sector, and academia on blockchain ecosystem growth.
• Observe& evaluate internationally the drifts in blockchain adoption to serve in national strategy convergence.
• Contribute to national projects in secure data infrastructure, digital transactions, and trusted networks.
• To carry out the duties assigned by the Advisor (Emerging Technologies Research).

Eligibility Criteria

You will require a minimum of 16 years of education (Bachelor’s or above) from an HEC-recognized university in a relevant field with approximately 5 years of relevant experience. The maximum age limit is 45 Years. A good understanding of new technologies and research/technical skills is also desirable.
