Job Description

Qualifications: MA or equivalent in a related area (e.g., Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or related fields). Experience: At least 7 years of relevant experience in quantum computing research, policy, or emerging technology strategy; experience in the public and/or private sector is desirable. The ideal candidate will have: (s)he should have prototypically the following professional experience: • In-depth experience on quantum computing research (developing algorithms, solutions and tools for QC) or technology development thereof; • Policy and strategy-oriented work in relation to quantum-tech uptake; • National and international liaison on quantum research; • Joint endeavor with academia and research labs; • Knowledge of quantum cryptography, simulation, and algorithms Job description: • Perform and facilitate research in quantum computing related trends, capabilities and national preparedness. • Support development of national strategy and frameworks for quantum technologies, including cybersecurity and high-performance computing. • Connect with world-class quantum research centers & tech companies to collaborate. • Propose avenues to build national capacity, in particular through skills in academia and industry. • Provide analysis on quantum computing and its impact on the economy. • Support national quantum-related initiatives • Tasks assigned by the Advisor (Emerging Technologies Research)

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) from a HEC-recognized university. 2 years of relevant experience. Maximum age: 30 years.
