Job Description

The Senior Aquaculturist (PPS-8) position in the Fisheries/Aquaculture Department, Government of Punjab, is a province-wide role under a project to promote shrimp and fish farming.

andidates should have a BSc/MSc in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Zoology, or a related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and reporting skills are required.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for this position must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fisheries, Aquaculture, Zoology, or a related field of study from an accredited college or university (16 years of education is required). Applicants must have 3-5 years relevant professional experience in aquaculture, fish or shrimp farming, hatchery or health management. Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in contemporary aquaculture systems, water quality management and disease control techniques. Applicants must have excellent technical, leadership, and field project implementation capabilities. The age limit is usually 21 to 45 years, which may vary as per the govt. rules and regulations and other relaxations.
